A big mistake that people make when they are creating a photo wedding invitation is often times they will try to take a photo that is to small and make it bigger to fit in a certain area. This does not work however because when you take an small image and make it bigger it gets what is called pixelated or grainy which makes for an unpleasant wedding invitation. A good general rule of thumb is that you can make images smaller but you can’t make them any bigger.

So if you are planning on creating your own wedding invite you will want to take the image right out of your digital camera without and editing and then shrink it down to fit in the area you would like. Shrinking the image down to a smaller size will not affect the image quality at all. So this way when you go to print the invite your picture will come out crystal clear and beautiful just as you would expect.
